All races will begin together at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time

Packet pickup will be held at the expo, which will be held at the The Dunlap Champions Club from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2025. The Dunlap Champions Club is at Doak Campbell Stadium at 225 Champions Way. Free parking is available.

Race day packet pickup will be available starting at 6 a.m. in front of the Leon County courthouse by the starting line. The courthouse is at 301 S. Monroe St.,Tallahassee, FL 32301.

Bag check is available on race morning starting at 6 a.m. at the Leon County Courthouse, 301 S. Monroe St., Tallahassee, FL 32301. The courthouse is right next to the starting line.

The starting line is on Monroe Street just north of the Florida Capitol and outside of the Leon County Courthouse, 301 S. Monroe St., Tallahassee, FL 32301.

The finish line will be in the College Town district near 815 W. Madison Street, Tallahassee, FL

You may change your registration to a different race distance by logging onto RunSignup, Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer Event. If you decide to change race distances on the day of the expo, please report your change to the packet pickup staff at the expo to receive the appropriate bib.

No refunds will be issued for changes to a shorter distance. Changes to a longer distance will incur a fee equal to the difference between the price already paid and the price of the new chosen distance at the date the change is made. Thank you for your understanding.

You may transfer your registration to another individual by logging onto RunSignup, Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer to Another Runner. If you decide to change race distances on the day of the expo, please report your change to the packet pickup staff at the expo to receive the appropriate bib.

We will not be offering deferments for any future races. We also cannot offer refunds, as pre-registration fees are used to pay for shirts and other race expenses incurred well ahead of race day. In limited cases and in the discretion of race directors, we may be able to offer refunds to runners who are willing to volunteer on race day. You may also transfer your registration to a friend for no extra cost. Contact the race directors here.

For the starting line, on-street parking is available along Park Avenue and various nearby streets. Public parking garages are available at Kleman Plaza, 306 S. Duval Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32301 and at the corner of S. Calhoun Street & E. College Avenue (behind the Leon County Courthouse).

For the finish line, parking is available in the garage at the corner of Saint Augustine Street & Walker Street, and also in the College Town garage near the corner of Madison Street & Lorene Street. To avoid race traffic, please enter and exit the Saint Augustine garage via Pensacola Street, and enter and exit the College Town garage from Gaines Street rather than Madison Street. If you park in a public garage, make sure you use your credit card to pay. Those are privately owned garages and they will send you a letter to collect.

Parking is also available halfway between the start and finish in the Turnbull Conference Center garage (across from the Civic Center) at the corner of W. Pensacola Street & S. Macomb Street.

Course

All half marathon participants must maintain a pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster, and all full marathon and relay participants must maintain a pace of 13:44 per mile or faster (6-hour marathon pace). All marathoners must pass the half marathon / marathon split point at 9.5 miles by 9:54 am to continue the marathon. All participants arriving afterwards will be diverted to the half marathon.

The second half marathon / marathon split point is at 16.9 miles. All marathoners must pass this split point by 11:23 am. Everyone approaching this point after 11:23 am is required to continue straight to the finish line via the half marathon course.

Participants who fall behind the cutoff times must move to the sidewalk and be responsible for their own safety, as police and aid station support on the course will not be available beyond the cutoff times. Thank you for your understanding.

Aid stations will be provided every 2-3 miles along the course. They will have water, Gatorade, and at certain locations, energy gels. Medical stations will be provided along the course as well to assist with minor issues.

Portable or permanent restrooms will be available approximately every 2-3 miles along the course.

There are two locations where the marathon splits from the half marathon.

Split #1 - 6.4 miles into race on Lafayette. Marathoners will turn right onto Madison for a second lap. You must make this turn by 9:08 am to continue the marathon; otherwise you’ll be required to proceed to the finish along the half marathon course.

Split #2 - 16.9 miles into race on FAMU Way. Marathoners will turn left at the roundabout to cross FAMU Way and then Robert and Trudie Perkins Way to continue to the out and back along St. Marks Trail. Marathoners must reach this point before 11:23 am to continue the marathon; otherwise you’ll be required to proceed to the finish along the remainder of the half marathon course.

Medical

Ambulance crews are stationed along the course and FSU Medical Response Units on campus are ready to mobilize.

Expo

The expo will be held at the FSU Champions Club from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2025. The FSU Champions Club is located at 225 Champions Way, Building B, Tallahassee FL 32306. Here’s a Google Map pin to the opening of the parking lot. The parking lot gate will be open on Saturday and there will be plenty of parking. Follow the signs to the elevator.
